- DESIGN----This is a round bottom schlenk flask designed with 0-4mm high vacuum valve for precise control of inlet/outlet flow at top neck.and with an outer standard taper joint parallel with the high vacuum valve on the side-arm for attaching a schlenk line to get the inert gas source.The joint is also used to attach a jointed lab glassware apparatus for adding or transferring.
- USE----This schlenk flask is mainly used as a storage flask to store the air-sensitive material,the joint on side-arm can be stopped by a jointed glass stopper or a rubber septum which allowing liquid transfer via a cannula. It is also can be used as a reaction flask to conduct reactions at elevated pressures and temperatures as a closed system. In addition, it is designed to withstand the pressure differential created by the ante-chamber when pumping solvents into a glove box.
