- DESIGN----This schlenk tube is comprised of a heavy wall cylindrical tube which is very convenient for magnetic stirrer during reaction.With 0-4mm high vacuum valve having PTFE o-ring at tip and PTFE wiper to protect the O-ring and shaft.With a standard taper joint on the top of tube attaching to lab glassware for adding ,transferring or reflux.
- USE---The schlenk flask with high vacuum valve is usually used as a storage flask or reaction flask in air-sensitive chemistry with high sealing performance.The high vacuum valve at top is not only used to control the liquid or gas flow,but also can be removed off to add or transfer materials.For a reaction setup, this flask is used to conduct reactions at elevated pressures and temperatures as a closed system.
