Schlenk Tube 50ml With 14/20 Inner Joint And Glass Stopcock
Special Price $26.76 Regular Price $41.42
- DESIGN---It is a schlenk tube comprised of a heavy wall glass tube with a standard inner joint at top and a 2mm glass stopcock having a constant pressure retention device on side-arm.The joint is used to attach other lab glassware with standard taper joint. The glass stopcock is used to attach a schlenk line(vacuum line) to get vacuum or inert gas source.
- USE----This schlenk tube is ideal to be used as a reaction tube or storage tube with air-sensitive chemistry material. The inner joint at top is ideal for a connecting adapter ,for example, for example, in order to transfer the solid air-sensitive material,, a bent vacuum adapter with two standard taper outer joint at both end is placed between the two schlenk tubes .
- DIMENSIONS----This schlenk tube is designed with 14/20 standard taper inner joint at top which can be stopped by a cap type stopper with ground outer joint, with a 2mm glass stopcock, capacity of 50mL.
- HEAVY WALL ---This schlenk tube is heavy-wall designed , made by hand-blowing according to ASTM E438 ,made of high-quality borosilicate glass and annealed at 800 degree Celsius ,can be heated directly in an open flame and can withstand typical laboratory thermal variations in Chemistry processes like heating and cooling, durable and reusable.
The schlenk tube with a sidearm permits the user to pull a vacuum on the flask or to fill it with an inert atmosphere. The ground glass inner joint is used to connect the flask to other apparatus or is plugged with a glass ground stopper .
Laboy glass flasks are heavy wall designed, made by hand-blowing to ensure uniform wall thickness, made of high-quality borosilicate glasss and annealed at 800 degree Celsius ,can be heated directly in an open flame and can withstand typical laboratory thermal variations in Chemistry processes like heating and cooling.
